⑮Let’s Play! Laser Tag Sports (Live Combat Gaming)
Today, I would like to introduce a laser tag game, which is widely played by kids, teens and adults in many different countries.
Laser tag is a team or individual sport or recreational activity where players attempt to score points by tagging targets, typically with a hand-held infrared-emitting targeting device. Each player commonly wears infrared-sensitive targets.
오늘은 레이저 태그 게임을 소개하려 하는데요, 레이저 태그게임은 많은 나라에서 어린이, 청소년, 성인등 나이에 상관없이 즐기는 게임이에요. 레이저 태그는 팀이나 개인적으로 즐기는 레저활동인데요, 게임을 하는 사람들이 손으로 들수 있는 레이저 총에서 방출되는 적외선을 이용하여 타겟을 정확하게 맞춤으로 점수를 얻어내는 게임이예요. 게임을 하는 사람들이 적외선감지가 가능한 장비를 입는 거예요.
■ What are the equipment? (필요한 장비들)

■ How to play (게임 방법)
Laser tag is a great game for few friends to run around the arena shooting each other or large group to build team work. It's easy to learn how to play and develop skills in this fast paced shooting game. (레이저 태그는 친구들과 함께 넓은 경기장을 뛰어 다니면 할 수 있는 좋은 게임이예요. 배우기가 쉽고, 게임하는 방법도 빨리 습득할 수 있는, 그리고 박동감있게 진행되는 사격 게임이에요.)
Try to form a group of players before play a game. Team can be a group of 4-10 people. It will be more fun to play as a team to build teamwork and strategize game. (먼저 함께 게임을 할 수 있는 팀을 만드는 것이 좋아요. 팀은 적게는 4명, 많게는 10명으로 구성될 수 있어요. 이렇게 팀으로 게임을 하게되면 팀워크도 다지게 되고, 전략을 세우는 방법도 배우게 되요.)
Once you get into the arena, select either 30 minutes session or 1 hour session (경기장에 들어가게 되면 30 분 게임을 할 것인지, 1시간 게임을 할 것인지를 선택해주면 되요.)
Follow the instruction given by the staff. You will be given brief rules of the game and equipment. (스태프들의 안내를 따르면 되요. 경기 방식과 장비 작동 방법에 대한 간단한 설명이 주어질 거예요.)
Once you are allowed to wear the equipment, make sure you clip the rifle into the body strip so you do not drop the rifle. (필요한 장비를 갖추게 되면, 총을 어깨띠에 잘 연결하여서 떨어뜨리지 않도록 해주세요.)
Wear a headband and adjust the size to fit your head. (머리띠를 하고 사이즈를 잘 조정해 주세요.)
Get into the area and position yourself well to hide from other team. (게임장 안으로 들어가서 숨을 곳을 잘 살펴 위치를 잡아주세요.)
Use the scope for the accuracy and emit your equipment toward your target. (총에 장착되어 있는 스코프를 이용하여 정확도를 높이고 타겟을 발겼했을때는 방아쇠를 당기면 되요.)
When you hit your opponent, their head sensor will blink with light and when you deplete their health it will flash continuously with light and emit a sound. To get back into the game you must go back to your base to re-spawn. 여러분이 상대방을 쏘게 되면 상대방 플레이어의 헤드 센서가 반짝반짝 하게 되고, 상대의 생명이 완전히 없어지게 되면 헤드센서가 계속 반짝거리면서 소리를 내게되요. 다시 게임에 참여하기를 원하면 기지로 돌아가서 다시 장비를 살려내면 되요.)
Search the arena to pick up new weapons, health, and other features from the utility box. (경기장 내에 있는 다양한 종류의 무기들, 생명을 살리는 법을 가지고 있는 유틸리티 박스를 잘 찾아보는 것도 좋을 거예요.)
For your safety, be award of your surrounding, keep a safe distance from other players, do not run, climb, jump or laydown on the floor. (여러분의 안전을 위해 주변을 잘 살피고 다른 플레이어들간의 안전 거리를 확보하며, 뛰거나, 오르거나, 점프하거나, 바닥에 앉는 행위를 삼가해야 해요.)
When your session is over, return your equipment and check your score as well as your team’s (게임이 끝나게 되면 여러분의 점수와 팀의 점수를 체크해 보도록 해요!)
